Tiivistelmä:Decision making process is vital part of organizationsÂ’ competitiveness. This article highlights the importance of mental model similarity (hereafter as MMS) among decision making teams. In this paper four MMS hypothesis are examined and compared to the existing literature. According to the authors most teams will benefit from MMS. MMS helps organizations to improve the quality and effectiveness of decision making and to take advantage of conflict situations. On the other hand too similar perspectives can lead to ignoring the diversity of alternative ideas.
