| Tiivistelmä: | Using a dichotomous choice contingent valuation method, this study aims at estimating the economic value of public interpretative services (as: i-p. srvs.) at a publicly supported Korean birdwatching (herein as: b-w.) festival. Logit estimation results show that bid, age, income and b-w. experience are main factors in explaining willingness-to-pay for i-p. srvs). The mean value of the publicly supported i-p. srvs. is estimated to be 4,961 South Korean Won (appr. USD 5) per person. |
