Abstract (fin): | Tässä diplomityössä kuvataan älykortin turvallisuusevaluointi- laitteisto, jota hyödynnetään älykortilla olevien salaisten avaimien suojaustason evaluoinnissa käyttäen apuna differential power analysis- menetelmää. Älykortit ovat erittäin turvallisuuskriittisiä laitteita, joiden käyttö riippuu luotettavuuden tasosta. Turvallisuuden luotettavuuden vahvistamiseksi tarvitaan tunnustetun sertifioijan suorittama evaluointi. Sertifioijan suorittaman evaluoinnin lisäksi älykorttien valmistajilla on omat intressinsä tietoturvallisuuden alueella. Älykorttien käyttöjärjestelmän kehitysvaiheessa määritellään turvallisuusvaatimukset. Näiden vaatimusten evaluointi voidaan tehdä suorittamalla todellisia hyökkäyksiä älykortille ja analysoimalla tuloksia. Tämä diplomityö käsittelee älykorttien ja niiden turvallisuuteen liittyvien asioiden periaatteet sekä tarkastelee lähemmin Differential Power Analysis- menetelmää (DPA). Työssä on kuvattu DPA- menetelmän suorittamiseen tarvittavan elektronisen mittalaitteiston toteutus. Myös todellinen hyökkäys on toteutettu ja hyökkäyksen tulokset on analysoitu. Analyysi paljastaa pieniä heikkouksia moduulitasolla mutta koko turvallisuusevaluointi- laitteisto täyttää nykyiset menestyksellisen evaluointiprosessin vaatimukset. |
