| Tiivistelmä: | The value of combining information and results from each discipline into multidisciplinary studies is ingreasingly being recognized. A methodological approach that links economic and ecological analyses are presented in this article. An economic-ecological model is developed by merging an input-output model of a coastal economy with a model of a marine food web. Distinct linear system sub-models of the economy and the ecosystem are described and a method for linking the two is developed. |
