Many governments and sport bodies have also clearly noticed this new player, and they are not sure how to handle this actor, or its global customers. It is obvious that the customers are attracted by Betfair.com by its transcendent value proposition. The authors examine the Betfairs business model using five technological forces in explaining its strategic success. The mentioned forces can be generalized in order to explore the effects of technology in any kind of industry. |
