| Tiivistelmä: | The article examines differences between Danish and Israeli backpacker blog writers on their experiences and perceptions of a foreign culture in India. An interpretative analysis on the blog entries is employed to determine whether national background has an effect on the way in which the foreign culture is met. Two types of travelers, "cosmopolitans" and "provincials" or "locals", are identified and the article studies whether one type is more characteristic than the other in either of the national backgrounds. |
