| Tiivistelmä: | The article reviews two recent studies on issues of social inequality, one conducted by economists, and the other by epidemiologists. Conceptualization is a notable problem with both studies, it's simply insufficient. The study conducted by the economists focused on changes in income distribution, while the epidemiologists make no distinction between class and status. Another problem is that the process of arriving at conclusions made from the available data on income distribution or inequalities of status and their consequences is often uncertain. |
