| Tiivistelmä: | This paper aims to present a view on the experiential learning (hereafter as: exp-lrng) practices in public relations (herein as: PR) education in South Africa (as: S.A.) , with the focus on identifying the view of the educators on exp-lrng and the different exp-lrng methods used in the education and training of PR learners in S.A. A qualitative approach supported by quantitative research techniques was used to determine the perception, interpretation and implementation of exp-lrng by higher education institutions as service providers of PR qualifications. There is found a shared opinion of the importance of exp-lrng. In addition, exp-lrng as a learning approach is not followed. |
