| Tiivistelmä: | Silver (1995) suggested adjusting simultaneously the cycle time and the production rate of the item for which the self life constraint is violated for obtaining an economic feasible schedule for a family of items sharing a common production facility. In this note the feasibility condition for obtaining a feasible schedule is tightened as well as corrected results of various options are presented for the two examples given.
