| Tiivistelmä: | With the recent emergence of powerful PC networks and workflow technology, the computer has finally come to the factory floor in a meaningful way. Simply stated , machine operators, foremen, and other factory floor workers are now able to confidently and competently utilize information technology to achieve successful and timely production outcomes. This information is now available literally at the touch of a hand, and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) are the primary cause for this new and exciting approach to the factory floor. |
