| Tiivistelmä: | The authors consider the characteristics of "Information Age" organizations -- organizations that are structured to operate successfully in dynamic, information-rich environments. Using survey data collected from a large-scale world-wide sample of business units in the computer and electronics industry, the authors quantify these characteristics and relate them to market success. They also show that the relationship between "Information Age" organizational characteristics and business performance is stronger in industry segments that are more dynamic. |
