| Tiivistelmä: | The author holds that the lag of China's urbanization is due to the poor quality of industrialization. She points out that lagging urbanization has extensive and deep negative effects on China's sustainable development, namely, problems in adjustment of China's industrial structure, impotence of market development, difficulties in raising the level of agricultural modernization and improving the poor quality of town and village enterprises. Several countermeasures are put forward against this:improving the quality of industrialization, adjusting urban development policy, drawing up law of development of small towns in China, and establishing new urban social order. |
