| Tiivistelmä: | The effects of income and wealth inequality have long been a major concern of social scientists. The study about the relationship between income distribution and economic growth can be at least traced back to kaldor that emphasizes the effect of income distribution on capital accumulation and therefore on economic growth. At the same time, the development economic literature follows the seminal work of Kuznets that concentrates mainly on the opposite direction, that is the effect of growth or stage of development on income distribution. |
