| Tiivistelmä: | Although very little empirical research has been conducted into the wage expectations of economic subjects, expectations as to the profitability of labor market relevant decisions play an important role in economic theory. According to human capital theory people's choice of an educational path is based on what they see as the optimum financial return to be derived for themselves from such a choice. |
