| Tiivistelmä: | Radio frequency identification (RFID) can be applied to table games (hereafter as: t-game/s) in casinos by allowing gaming operators to gain the same levels of customer and game-play (as: g-play) data in t-game operations as currently in the slot area. Using chips imprinted with RFID, gaming companies can monitor g- play, prevent instances of chip counterfeiting and theft, and promote responsible gaming. Beyond casino chips, RFID can eventually be installed on playing cards, which gives casinos a better picture of their customers, but also reducing opportunities for cheating. |
