| Tiivistelmä: | This paper concentrates on downsizing behavior of large Spanish companies with different ownership structures. The examined aspects of ownership structure include state-owned, foreign-owned and non-listed firms. The results show that listed companies are more likely to downsize than private domestic companies. In addition, the downsizing is more likely among privatized firms that were state-owned before. |
