| Tiivistelmä: | Many organizations looking to improve their innovativeness are collaborating with other companies to trade knowledge. Especially with the rise of open innovation, new actors in the innovation process are emerging. This article analyzes the open innovation actor by examining a case study of SAFER, a Swedish traffic and vehicle safety research unit that has 22 cooperating partners. The results reveal three types of problems: the interface with partner organizations, collaboration between the partners, and the unit itself. |
