| Tiivistelmä: | The objective is to estimate the marginal annual energy, electricity and gas, consumption of domestic appliances and facilities, using cross-sectional analysis of household energy survey data. The marginal annual energy estimates of the appliance/facility can be used for producing semi-elasticities which relate the future increase of domestic energy usage to changing domestic appliance market penetration levels. The relationship is shown by combining the elasticities with appliance penetration levels. Simular calculations can be carried out to analyze the effect on statewide energy usage. |
