Abstract:The article studies employees' attitudes towards corporate social responsibility(CSR) programs. The results are based on a study of two Chilean construction firms. The analysis suggests that two types of attitudes in employees are generated when CSR programs are implemented: attitudes toward the organization and attitudes toward society. The analysis furthermore generates a typology of three different employee types: the committed worker, the indifferent worker, and the dissident worker.
