| Abstract: | Recent technological and economic reasons have forced multinational corporations to reconcider their investment strategies. This International Finance Corporation (IFC) study analyses whether the US based multinationals have actually changed their strategies. Especially if they have limited their investments to developing countries. Posssible reasons could be found in labour costs, product- and processing technology or rising quality standards. |
