Abstract:The National Association of Attorneys General has revised its guidelines on horizontal mergers to align state enforcement practices with federal practices. The effect of this revision is analyzed in the first section. Other topics include: regulation of product characteristics, regulation of price competition, regulation of channels of distribution, regulation of advertising and promotional methods, regulation of intellectual property, procedural and miscellaneous developments, United States Supreme Court disposition of appeals.
