| Abstract: | To develop foreign exchange-earning agriculture is an advantage of Guangdong. In 1992, the export value of agriculture and sideline products, local products and special products and their processed products reached USD 2,352 billion and accounted for one of the major proportion of the gross export of Guangdong. The reason of the success of Guangdong agriculture were the improved reform of foreign trade system, the close relation between trade and agriculture and the use of foreign investment in developing foreign exchange-earning agriculture greatly improved by specialized foreign trade companies. The article also analysed the present contradictions and problems and proposed some suggestions. |
