| Abstract: | The Swedish parliamentary decision in June 1988 is detailed. From 1990 the markets for all kinds of terminals and network services are open for competition. Swedish market conditions are among the most open in the world. The history of the country's telecommunications explains this straightforward road to liberalization. There are only minimum of rules which might be necessary to meet existing international obligations and national objectives. |
