| Abstract: | EROS is an electronic recording system installed at PolyGram's Chadwell Heath distribution center. HMV, Our Price, and increasingly, W.H. Smith are using the system, which automatically transmits stock orders overnight to suppliers by a computer-to-computer method. A major, sophisticated computer system is being established at Romford, which will be fully operational by next Easter. |
