| Abstract: | Cinema attendance in GDR went back considerably lately (from 3,6/head/ year to 2,2/head/year) and is approaching that of FRG (1,7/head/ year). The factors behind this decrease are enumerated and the results of a survey among GDR movie directors and audience on age, social stratum, cultural and leisure time preferences are presented. |
