Abstract: | A study was conducted investigating 13 TV programmes in March and April 1989. It was found that fiction, non-fiction and music are the most popular transmissions and there is a difference in their proportion between private and puböic channels. The structure of programming determines the character of the different stations. Public channels seem to attach greater importance to quality. |
