| Abstract: | Industry observers agree that after the HDTV selection , it may still take years before consumer sets are available. But Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Local-DBS Inc. plans to use satellite spot beams to broadcast direct-to-home feeds of local broadcasters high definition or digital NTSC signals in 1995. Local DBS plans to deliver programming to an l8-inch diameter satellite dish. |
