| Abstract: | The relationship between myth and written literature is examined from two aspects: the evolutionary and the typological ones. The former presupposes that myths were predecessors of written literature, the latter is based on the assumption that myths and written fiction are two independent and specific organisms of culture being interrelated in a complex manner. |
