| Abstract: | Guiding change means both developing a clearer vision of where we want to go and a practical strategy for getting there from here. The vision that underlies this analysis is of a dematerialized world, a world in which an international conflict is more peacefully and justly resolved. We humans are a contentious and quarrelsome lot. But there is no reason why we cannot learn to solve our conflicts without wars. THe institutions described and discussed here are far from utopian. We must do more than dream. |
