| Abstract: | The piano sonata in D-major written in 1789 is a summary of Mozart's oeuvre, similarly to Beethoven's last sonata. But the latter was a departure from the classical principles and harmonies of the genre, while Mozart's last completed sonata is a quintessence of refined classical features of the sonata form. |
