| Abstract: | The characteristics of the southern-Jiangsu pattern are: basically public ownership economy in the ownership structures; basically township industry in the industrial structure; and basically market economy in the running mechanism of the economy. Other features include: realization of co-ordination between regional economy and co-ordination between the material civilization and the spiritual civilization; discovering a road of common prosperity in the region. In the regions of Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou, there are neither very rich families nor poverty-striken households, every family is well-to-do. That is the Southern-Jiangsu pattern. |
