| Abstract: | The purpose of this article is twofold. First, using official Russian statistics , the paper reveals data on the movement of prices and real output production in the Russian Federation for the period of 1991-1993. Second, on the basis of economic theory, it will attempt to explain the major trends in the country's price level and output production during this period and to search for possible solutions. |
