| Abstract: | Carnation had not built a new dairy plant in years. Because of size requirements and future plans for the new facility, it was important to determine exactly how modern technology would be applied. The company's goal was to employ state-of-the-art technology which would emphasize efficiency and improved productivity, thereby positively impacting the company's competitive position. Because this facility was replacing other plants, there was a need to quickly achieve operational levels of production. This article tells how this was achieved. |
