| Abstract: | Since the establishment of Zhengzhou Grain Market and introduction of the future mechanism in Oct., 1990, more than 30 exchanges of futures of various kinds had come into being across the country by the end of 1993. Over 30000 enterprises and financial institutions took up futures business with nearly 100 kinds of future commodities, Business concluded by the end of 1993 had skyrocketed from about 2000 pieces in 1992 to over one million. There are now more than 100 brokers of futures, and about 135000 people employed in this trade. |
