Abstract: | With this year's Norwegian bargaining round virtually concluded, the authors review the main outcomes. bargaining was dominated by the issues of "equal pay" wage additions, the use of LO-NHO private sector settlement as a blueprint elsewhere, and the use of compulsory arbitration. Collective bargaining in Norway remains highly centralized. The 1994 round was a "main" bargaining round , in which two-year deals were concluded. These dealt with all aspects of agreements. |
