| Abstract: | The processes of database design can be divided into several stages. This four-stage process comprises requirements collection: in this stage users are interviewed to obtain descriptions of their information needs. This results in a preliminary specification of needs of all user groups in an organization. Conceptual design: a conceptual model of the application is developed using the data collected in the first stage. |
