Abstract:The reasons for textile industry's being in a structural difficult position are that it was influenced by such factors as the changes of consumptions structure , the slowed growth rate of export, special difficulties of old industrial bases. Besides, there are some special reasons like larger production scale, more obstacles in changing the line of production, no apparent process of centralized production, weakness in superiority of famous brand enterprises and products. The highlight of policies for adjustment is 1. encouraging enterprises to change the line of production; 2. reducing shock of structural adjustment on employment; 3. making enterprises withdraw by compensate aid provided by beneficiaries; 4.giving special policies to the enterprises entering into service industry in textile industry.
