| Abstract: | From now on to the early next century and up to the mid-century, China's power will develop at the speed of 15 million kw. or so, covering the whole territory of the country. In the recent 16 years, the foreign investment contracted by China's power developments has totalled USD 14.3 billion and the actual foreign capital utilized in power construction dollar 11.0 billion. 63 large and medium-sized projects of thermal power and hydra power with a total installed capacity of 40 million kw. have been completed. Now they have already had a generating capacity of 14.12 million kw. Chinese government will continue to implement actively, reasonably and effectively the policy of utilizing foreign capital in order to accelerate the development of power industry. |
