| Abstract: | According to incomplete statistics, there were about 94 department in charge of industries turned into State assets-managing companies or corporations authorized to manage State assets by May 1995 in provincial- level units, provincial capitals and separately-listed cities, 70 of which had a total volume of assets of 9.97 million yuan. In view of some problems in the system reform, the article points out that the nature and position of companies of managing State assets are to be determined precisely, and that relevant laws, regulations and policies should be worked out to prevent the drain of State assets. |
