| Abstract: | An organization that decides to pursue ISO-9000 certification is making a commitment to build its business philosophy around the guidelines provided in the standard. Before making such a major commitment, however, the organization should ensure that the quality system is efficient and easy to implement. ISO-9000 implementation requires changes in several of the practices of an organization. The organization does not need to start from scratch. Instead, it should incorporate good business practices used by the organization into the new quality system. |
