Abstract:The report examines the international market for audio products in seven major markets: France, Italy, the UK, Germany and Spain. Findings of individual country studies are identified, current opprotunities and prospects for growth within the five markets are highlighted. The period under review is 1990-1994 for current data and 1994-1999 for the future outlook of the market. The audio products market can be broken down by product sector. Principal sectors considered in each market are non-portable equipment, incl. traditional music centres and micro audio systems, compact disc players, hi-fi separates, mains radios and radio alarm clocks; and portable goods, incl. radio recorders, personal stereo products incl. CD players, portable radios and cassette recorders.
