| Abstract: | Ergonomics as a science studies two basic principles: fitting the person to the job, and fitting the job to the person. Applications of ergonomics are not limited to manufacturing related issues. The whole issue of ergonomics has spread out to accommodate deficiencies within the office environment, as well. Successful implementation of ergonomics in the workplace requires an overall project plan, as well as a management structure that will oversee the process. |
