| Abstract: | Russia's emerging market economy harbors many different breeds of Russian managers that must be understood by Americans doing business there. American business is by far the largest foreign investor in the Russian economy. With more than 700 large and small firms investing more than $800 million in 1995 alone, America's 29 percent share of new foreign investment in Russia was twice that of any other country. Doing business there, however, continues to be challenging. |
