| Abstract: | China's government is going to further expand the scale and fields of opening to the outside world in the central and western areas, especially the border area and the inland central cities, and grant more power of examination and approval of foreign-funded projects to these areas. All the projects involving foreign governments' loans and multilateral or bilateral aid-receiving projects except the projects with special demand will be arranged in the central and western areas in the future. As to the right of external business of the large-and medium-sized enterprises and research institutions or academies, the procedure of examination and approval should be shortened and the restrictions on it relaxed. |
