Abstract:This report focuses on the German market for soft drinks (Erfrischungsgetranke) which, for the purposes of this report, may be divided into four principal categories, namely, colas, lemonade/fruit drinks, sport/energy drinks, and other soft drinks. Concentrates are not referred to specifically, although they are included in the category "other soft drinks", as sales are insignificant in Germany. The category of "lemonade/fruit drinks" comprises more than simply lemonade and carbonates.
