| Abstract: | The company described in this article is a manufacturer of heavy equipment for the forest industry. The company had previously moved to group technology through the application of production flow analysis techniques. The focus of this article is on the application of tooling analysis, which is one of the techniques used to implement group technology. This technique was effectively used in a bottleneck workcenter to reduce setup times and increase throughput. |
