Abstract:Many companies today are searching for growth. But how and where should they look? Every industry forces customers to compromise their preferences in ways they are scarcely aware of. By finding and breaking those compromises, companies have released enough trapped value to fuel breakaway growth. Breaking compromises can be a powerful organizing principle to enlist an entire organization in the search for growth opportunities.
