Abstract:Hong Kong has funds for increment while inland China has alluring market attracting funds. Since both places have their own practical need, they can realise the goal of helping each other in terms of consciousness, complementary in terms of structure and mutual benefit in terms of economy. Their future economic co-operation may expand at three levels: continuing the first-level co-operation, that is, maintaining Hong Kong's manufacturing industry's investment in Pearl River Delta and the coastal advanced areas, increasing the second-level co-operation, that is, jointly developing high-tech and high value-added projects and products, exploring the third-level co-operation , that is, making jointly investment in the third place in a bid to expand overseas market hand in hand.
