Abstract:Many top managers feel that they are not getting sufficient added value from information systems, yet do not know how to make significant improvements. This article suggests three principles which will assist general managers to manage information systems better. These principles are neither revolutionary nor difficult to understand. All the guidelines and suggested techniques have been well-tested and have proved effective in suitable circumstances.
