| Abstract: | In this paper it is shown that the method of "targeting" is only partially suitable to control complex dynamics in real economic systems owing to the high sensivity of this method. According to the concret solution as proposed by Kopel the exact calculation itself demonstrates the high rate of error. On the other hand better results could be achieved by using the concept of "controlled growth" to avoid enterprise crisis as they could ever be achieved with "targeting" even under most favourable theoretical conditions. Finally, the here suggested control methode of "constant feedback" shows a way, how the management of a firm can successfully suppress chaos in unidimensional systems. It´s a simple method which does not require any a priori knowledge of the dynamics of the system for its feedback signal and is robust against disturbances and modelling or measurement errors. |
